tour of the Val di Taro!
the Tour I studied the blind .... I had never been over there but the map seemed a good way ... and I must say that I'm wrong ... almost 115 km meeting only 5 cars .... roads free for at least 95 of those monsters with 4 wheels that are unfortunately associated with an umbilical cord in spite of ourselves because it became an instrument of daily life ....
departure from Carasco, a small town in the hinterland of Chiavari, Borgonovo Ligure direction and then after just 7 km after the village turn right to the Passo del Bocco ..... 15 km climb that seemed really tough at first flight .... a 9% drittone that inspired a certain respect, but the second corner welcomed us with slopes that let us enjoy the scenery .... fir forest - like Trentino and then beech and chestnut trees more suited to our land.
the pass and down the path that wedges for at least 20 km in a narrow valley more humid and I must say that was the only less pleasant to note all the way .... we had to go to Bedonia but we opted for a detour - shortcut that led us to shorten our first tour so but at the same time has given us a small but nice with a beautiful church (Abbey) is called Tarsogno. From there, crossing with the climb to Passo Centocroci to 1060 meters above sea level on the border with Parma.
After that we opened our eyes a truly beautiful landscape .... a thrilling ride in the midst of vast lawns that if only we were in April instead of mid-March would be sprinkled with colorful spring flowers ..... which brings us down in that beautiful village in the hinterland Varese Ligure Liguria called village .... that deserves a more detailed visit but for lack of time leads us to overcome in a few minutes.
Diversion Comuneglia ... and here begins the painful note .... I had prepared well for the way forward in every detail and I knew that the road would have to rise, but gently toward the passage of the snake .. .. the road was interrupted for work .... but not for cars for people Ardita Biking!
bypassed the barriers continue to rise until such time as Chicco ... my brother .... he blurts out: "wrong way ... but here we have rooms too .....( I wish to state that we were at 7%) necessary to take the road lower down "!
Confident of his good sense (alas) back on our feet and a 4 km further down we take this detour continues flat along a creek .... up to a farmhouse in the woods with the slate roof from .... ..... there as a kind of narrow road with steep slopes touching the Gavia 14% for a total of about 3 km more or less ..... where to find ?????? 1 km after the point where we decided to retrace our steps!!
so we were (First) in the right way !!!!! BEAN ..... THANK YOU THANK YOU WANTED THE TEST OUR ENERGY!!
However the slope decreases a little and we reach the blessed Pass snake (the ugliest of 3) perhaps because no one in the main street and then abandoned to the degradation of incivility 'HUMAN!
final descent towards Carasco day and very nice from the point of view that cycling of the company .....
